About CME
Welcome to AJPM's Online CME Program sponsored by the American College of Preventive Medicine. Each CME exercise consists of a single exam followed by a brief post-test evaluation. Exam questions are created by the author(s) of the related journal article. You may complete the exercise in one sitting or you may save your work in progress and complete at a later date.
Method of Physician Participation in Learning Process
The core material for this activity can be read online at the AJPM Web site: http://www.ajpm-online.net/. The accompanying test may only be submitted online at http://www.ajpm-online.net/. Fax or other copies will not be accepted.
Taking an Exam and Claiming Exam Credit
  • Click on a test from the list below. After you read the Objectives, click on the link to read the article (Note: Article will open in a new browser. After reading the article you must return to CME test page to continue.)
  • Complete the CME exam (you must achieve a 70% pass rate). Each exam may be retaken an unlimited number of times until successfully completed.
  • Complete CME evaluation.
  • After successfully completing an exam, you will be instructed to print a Certificate of Credit for your earned credit hours (1 category 1 credit for Physicians).

  • Adobe Reader required for downloading and printing certificate
Journal Subscribers and Non-Subscribers
The CME program is free for journal subscribers and non-subscribers. Access to the tests is free and there is no obligation to pay for the test experience.
Activating Your Subscription
If you are a journal subscriber but have not activated your online subscription, you will be required to activate it upon successful completion of an exam in order to receive your Certificate of Credit.

Privacy

CME FAQ

If you get a blank screen when clicking on an exam, you need to enable pop-ups in your browser:

  1. Scroll to the top and click on the message regarding "pop-ups."
  2. Agree to allow pop-ups (for this program only) and follow the additional prompts.
  3. The exam will then appear.
  4. If your browser is Safari, follow these steps to enable pop-ups : 1) open the Safari window; from the top menu click Safari; Unselect the option (if selected) - "Block Pop-Up Windows."
    NOTE: Enabling pop-ups for this CME activity will not enable pop-ups for any other applications.
